Aircraft Design Concept Sketches

Engineering design process is a multi-step process including research, conceptualization, feasibility assessment, requirements of building design, preliminary design, detailed design, production planning and design tools, and finallyproduction. Section to follow the steps that are not always in the engineering design process, for some tasks are completed at the same time as other tasks. This is only general summary of each step of the engineering design process.

Conceptual Design Process
Having clearly defined engineering problems, the solution must be identified. This solution can be found by using the desire, or mental processes by which ideas generated. The following are the most widely used techniques:

trigger words - words or phrases related to the issue at hand is expressed, and the following words and phrases that evoke. For example, to move something from one place to another could lead to run, swim, roll, etc.

chart morphology - independent design characteristics are listed in the table and different engineering solutions proposed for each solution. Typically, early sketches and a brief report accompanying chart morphology.

Synaptic - engineers imagine themselves as the item and asked, "What would I do if I was the system?" Conventional methods of thought may find solutions to problems encountered.
Brainstorming - This popular method involves thinking of different ideas and adopts these ideas in some form as a solution to this problem
